I've spent 30 years in the  radio and television broadcasting industry -- the past seven years with CBS News radio. 

I joined Pre-Paid Legal in February, 2000.  I needed to bounce legal things off of someone who was wiser than me just to find out if I was right or wrong in my thinking.   My dad used to be that guy, and he had recently passed away.

My journey started as a happy user of the product after a costly and challenging auto accident.  My car had been rear-ended by an older lady, and that pushed me across the double yellow line. I got hit again by another car.  For some reason, the police officer listed me as being at fault.  Then I was denied the insurance claim.  

I called the attorneys at our provider law firm, and within 10 minutes they went to work on my behalf.  They negotiated with the insurance company, who -- after finding out I had an attorney and was not at fault in the accident --  decided to pay my claim.  That accident would have been out-of-pocket had I not had access to an attorney.  

The $9,500 I saved has paid for my membership for 31 years! 

I worked my Pre-Paid Legal business part-time for the first 3 1/2 years.  In October, 2004, I decided to go full-time, and advanced to the level of Bronze Executive Director three months later.

My goal is to develop a passive six-figure income by helping others see the value of this membership and the business.
